Current status: Valid as Nemipterus tambuloides (Bleeker 1853). Nemipteridae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Andaman Sea, Indonesia and Gulf of Thailand (Thailand) east to Philippines. Habitat: marine.
