Holotype (unique): MRAC 12125. •Valid as Nannocharax luapulae Boulenger 1915 -- (Daget & Gosse 1984:202 [ref. 6185], Kullander & Roberts 2012:366 [ref. 31751], Manda et al. 2021:327 [ref. 38403], Manda et al. 2023:5 [ref. 40270], Musschoot 2024:347 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Nannocharax luapulae Boulenger 1915. Distichodontidae. Distribution: Central Africa: Luapula-Moero basin, Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. Habitat: freshwater.
