Lectotype selected by Poll & Gosse 1963:19 [ref. 5137]. •Valid as Neolebias trilineatus Boulenger 1899 -- (Vari 1979:329 [ref. 5490], Daget & Gosse 1984:208 [ref. 6185], Kullander & Roberts 2012:366 [ref. 31751], Stiassny et al. 2021:1687 [ref. 39000], Musschoot 2024:353 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Neolebias trilineatus Boulenger 1899. Distichodontidae. Distribution: Central Africa: Congo River basin, Democratic Republic of Congo. Habitat: freshwater.
