Also appeared in Pellegrin 1903 or 1904:380, Pl. 6 (fig. 3) [ref. 3419] from Suriname. Current status: Valid as Lugubria multispinosa (Pellegrin 1903). Cichlidae: Cichlinae. Distribution: Northern South America: Maroni and Mana River basins, Suriname and French Guiana. Habitat: freshwater.
