Lectotype selected by Eccles & Lewis 1977:2 [ref. 7049]. •Valid as Lethrinops micrentodon (Regan 1922) -- (Eccles & Lewis 1977:2 [ref. 7049], Eccles & Trewavas 1989:127 [ref. 13547], Maréchal 1991:238 [ref. 20944], Konings 2016:399 [ref. 34521]). Current status: Valid as Lethrinops micrentodon (Regan 1922). Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Malawi. Habitat: freshwater.
