Paralectotypes: (2) ZMB 9850 (missing). Spelled rhomboidea in plate caption, in index and in key, rhomboideus in main heading; Pempheris is feminine so rhomboidea is correct. Also appeared in Kossmann & Räuber 1877:18, Pisces Pl. 1 (fig. 4) [ref. 14246] with 2 spellings.
