quinqueramosus, Linophryne Beebe [W.] & Crane [J.] 1947:174, Pl. 3 (fig. 5); Fig. 17 [Zoologica, Scientific Contributions of the New York Zoological Society v. 31 (pt 4, no. 11); ref. 6539] 24 miles southwest of Pinas Pt., Panama (Pacific), 7°24'N, 78°35'W, depth 500 fathoms [915 meters]. Holotype (unique): CAS-SU 46506 [ex NYZS 28709]. Type catalog: Mead 1958:133 [ref. 20648]. Linophryne is feminine, so the correct spelling is Quinqueramosa. •Valid as Linophryne quinqueramosa Beebe & Crane 1947 -- (Bertelsen 1980:241 [ref. 8742] with emended spelling, Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:202 [ref. 28944], Pietsch 2009:493 [ref. 30766]). Current status: Valid as Linophryne quinqueramosa Beebe & Crane 1947. Linophrynidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific (1 specimen). Habitat: marine.
