Original genus should have been spelled Tetraodon. •Valid as Tetraodon fangi Pellegrin & Chevey 1941 -- (Saenjundaeng et al. 2013:77 [ref. 32782]). •Valid as Pao fangi (Pellegrin & Chevey 1941) -- (Kottelat 2013:480 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:504 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Pao fangi (Pellegrin & Chevey 1941). Tetraodontidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Chao Phraya and Mekong River basins, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
