Holotype (unique): RMNH 6534. •Synonym of Choerodon robustus (Günther 1862) -- (Fricke 1999:405 [ref. 24106], Parenti & Randall 2000:10 [ref. 24943], Gomon 2017:49 [ref. 35547], Randall & Victor 2022:187 [ref. 39916]). Current status: Synonym of Choerodon robustus (Günther 1862). Labridae. Habitat: marine.
