fucorum, Blennius Valenciennes [A.] in Cuvier & Valenciennes 1836:263, Pl. 324 [Histoire naturelle des poissons v. 11; ref. 1005] About 240 miles south of Azores, northeastern Atlantic. Holotype (unique): MNHN 0000-0736. Type catalog: Bauchot 1967:11 [ref. 20734]. •Valid as Parablennius fucorum (Valenciennes 1836) -- (Bath 1990:908 [ref. 19373]). •Synonym of Hypleurochilus fissicornis (Quoy & Gaimard 1824) -- (Bath 1994:73 [ref. 21627], Bath 1996:90 [ref. 22687], Santos et al. 1997:130 [ref. 23531]). Current status: Synonym of Hypleurochilus fissicornis (Quoy & Gaimard 1824). Blenniidae: Salariinae. Habitat: marine.
