Also appeared in detail as a new species in Saville-Kent 1886:117 [ref. 27678]. •Valid as Heteroclinus johnstoni (Saville-Kent 1886) -- (Kuiter 1993:332 [ref. 23929], Gomon et al. 1994:757 [ref. 22532], Kuiter 1997:336 [ref. 25488], Hoese 2006:1532 [ref. 28998], Hoese et al. 2008:708 [ref. 30657], Patzner et al. 2009:467 [ref. 30396]). Current status: Valid as Heteroclinus johnstoni (Saville-Kent 1886). Clinidae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia. Habitat: marine.
