Genus should have been spelled Tripterygion. •Valid as Norfolkia clarkei (Morton 1888) -- (Fricke 1991:339 [ref. 19545], Kuiter 1993:323 [ref. 23929], Gomon et al. 1994:737 [ref. 22532], Kuiter 1997:334 [ref. 25488]). •Valid as Trinorfolkia clarkei (Morton 1888) -- (Fricke 1994:541 [ref. 21827], Fricke 1997:586 [ref. 23339], Hutchins 2001:42 [ref. 25847], Hoese 2006:1527 [ref. 28998], Gomon 2008:692 [ref. 30616], Fricke 2009:35 [ref. 30394], Patzner et al. 2009:448 [ref. 30396]). Current status: Valid as Trinorfolkia clarkei (Morton 1888). Tripterygiidae: Tripterygiinae. Distribution: Australia: New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
