Based on 'Nason unicolore' of Liénard 1839:38 [ref. 17536]. Considered as a senior synonym of Naso minor (Smith 1966) by Fricke 1999:549 [ref. 24106], but Randall 2001:171 [ref. 25459] disagreed and treated Naso unicolor as indeterminable. •Valid as Naso unicolor (Liénard 1861) -- (Fricke 1999:549 [ref. 24106], Fricke et al. 2009:109 [ref. 30213]). Current status: Synonym of Naso minor (Smith 1966). Acanthuridae. Habitat: marine.
