leucobranchialis, Callionymus Fowler [H. W.] 1941:19, Figs. 12-13 [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 90 (no. 3106); ref. 1439] San Fernando Point Light, western coast of Luzon Island, Philippines, 16°30'36"N, 120°11'06"E, depth 45 fathoms. Holotype: USNM 99393. Paratypes: USNM 99395 (4), 99399-400 (6, 1). Other specimens: USNM 99394 (1), 99396-98 (1, 3, 3), 99401-05 (1, 1, 2, 2, 5). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:103 [ref. 12291], Fricke 1982:62 [ref. 5432] who refers some types and "other specimens" to different species. Paratypes of this species (SU 40197) were identified as Callionymus hildae Fricke 1981 by Fricke 2002:24 [ref. 26547]. •Valid as Callionymus leucobranchialis Fowler 1941 -- (Fricke 1982:62 [ref. 5432], Fricke 1983:181 [ref. 8349], Fricke in Randall & Lim 2000:634 [ref. 25122], Fricke 2000:60 [ref. 25197], Fricke 2001:3555 [ref. 26292], Fricke 2002:28 [ref. 26547]). •Valid as Repomucenus leucobranchialis (Fowler 1941) -- (Hoese & Bray 2006:1590 [ref. 29000]). Current status: Valid as Callionymus leucobranchialis Fowler 1941. Callionymidae. Distribution: Western Pacific and southeastern Indian Ocean. Habitat: marine.
