Plates 73 and 77 are together as 73-77. •Valid as Lepidotrigla papilio (Cuvier 1829) -- (Paxton et al. 1989:455 [ref. 12442], Richards 1992:63 [ref. 20654], Kuiter 1993:113 [ref. 23929], Gomon et al. 1994:499 [ref. 22532], Kuiter 1997:96 [ref. 25488], Johnson 1999:728 [ref. 25471], Hutchins 2001:28 [ref. 25847], Paxton et al. 2006:925 [ref. 29074], Gomon & Last 2008:511 [ref. 30651], Hoschke et al. 2019:155 [ref. 36626]). Current status: Valid as Lepidotrigla papilio (Cuvier 1829). Triglidae: Triglinae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: Queensland (Australia) to southern Australia and to Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
