Holotype (unique): AMS E.2932. For remarks on holotype see Imamura & Hoese 2020:[8] [ref. 37793]. •Valid as Paracentropogon vespa Ogilby 1910 -- (Allen & Swainston 1988:48 [ref. 25477], Paxton et al. 1989:446 [ref. 12442], Allen 1997:76 [ref. 23977], Poss 1999:2308 [ref. 24796], Hutchins 2001:27 [ref. 25847], Allen et al. 2006:901 [ref. 29078]). Current status: Valid as Paracentropogon vespa Ogilby 1910. Tetrarogidae. Distribution: Australia. Habitat: marine.
