On p. 13 of separate. •Synonym of Cottocomephorus inermis (Yakovlev 1890) -- (Taliev 1955:292 [ref. 4316], Sideleva 1982:29 [ref. 14469], Sideleva 1998:150 [ref. 23595], Sideleva 2003:166 [ref. 27815]). •Valid as Cottocomephorus comephoroides (Berg 1900) -- (Berg 1949:1173 [ref. 20662], Bogdanov 2019:230 [ref. 36814] with date 1901, Sideleva & Zhidkov 2021:235 [ref. 38705], Bogdanov 2023:74 [ref. 40329]). Current status: Valid as Cottocomephorus comephoroides (Berg 1900). Cottidae. Distribution: North Asia: Lake Baikal (Russia). Habitat: freshwater.
