Holotype (unique): lost. Appeared first as name only as Cyclopteropsis pavlencovi Soldatov in Soldatov & Popov 1930:74 [ref. 3545]. Current status: Valid as Eumicrotremus lindbergi (Soldatov 1930). Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Western North Pacific: Bering Sea to southeastern Kamchatka, Okhotsk Sea, and Japan Sea to Korean Peninsula. Habitat: marine.
