Holotype: ANSP 39106. Paratypes: ANSP 39107-08 (2), FMNH 55907 [ex CM, ex ANSP 39109] (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:42 [ref. 13621], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:75 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Rhoadsia altipinna Fowler 1911 -- (Ovchynnyk 1967:30 [ref. 37559] as Roadsia altipinna, Ortega & Vari 1986:9 [ref. 9708], Weitzman et al. 1986:342 [ref. 5984], Cardoso in Reis et al. 2003:214 [ref. 27061], Mirande 2010:500 [ref. 31006], Barriga Salazar 2014:109 [ref. 35745], Jiménez-Prado et al. 2015:155 [ref. 34894], Aguirre et al. 2016:554 [ref. 34674], Meza-Vargas et al. 2022:4 [ref. 39566], Siccha-Ramirez et al. 2023:127 [ref. 40816], Valenzuela et al. 2023:95 [ref. 40815], Reis 2024:268 [ref. 40817]).
