Syntypes: RMNH 6168 (some or all of 12). Appeared without distinguishing features in list in Bleeker 1849:5 [ref. 320]. •Synonym of Aulopareia unicolor (Valenciennes 1837) -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:142 [ref. 23448]). •Valid as Acentrogobius chlorostigmatoides (Bleeker 1849) -- (Zheng 1989:347 [ref. 21202], Wu in Pan et al. 1991:478 [ref. 23876], Rainboth 1996:197 [ref. 22772]). •Valid as Creisson chlorostigmatoides (Bleeker 1849) -- (Chen et al. 1996:2 [ref. 22533]). •Synonym of Aulopareia unicolor (Valenciennes 1837) -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:142 [ref. 23448], Kottelat 2013:400 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Aulopareia unicolor (Valenciennes 1837). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Indonesia and China (if valid). Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
