Holotype: USNM 90321. Paratypes or additional material: Siamese Dept. Fish. (2). Type catalog: Koumans 1940:130 [ref. 2676]. •Synonym of Acentrogobius chlorostigmatoides (Bleeker 1849) -- (Rainboth 1996:197 [ref. 22772]). •Valid as Aulopareia atripinnata (Smith 1931) (also seen as atripinnatus) -- (Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:635 [ref. 25122], Larson & Murdy 2001:3595 [ref. 26293], Kottelat 2013:399 [ref. 32989], Suzuki et al. 2017:81 [ref. 35202]). Current status: Valid as Aulopareia atripinnata (Smith 1931). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Thailand. Habitat: brackish, marine.
