Type catalog: Koumans 1940:130 [ref. 2676]. •Synonym of Acentrogobius chlorostigmatoides (Bleeker 1849) -- (Rainboth 1996:197 [ref. 22772]). •Valid as Aulopareia atripinnata (Smith 1931) (also seen as atripinnatus) -- (Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:635 [ref. 25122], Larson & Murdy 2001:3595 [ref. 26293], Kottelat 2013:399 [ref. 32989], Suzuki et al. 2017:81 [ref. 35202], Parenti 2021:96 [ref. 38603]). •Synonym of Aulopareia unicolor (Valenciennes 1837) -- (Larson & Jaafar 2022:508 [ref. 39363]). Current status: Synonym of Aulopareia unicolor (Valenciennes 1837). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
