H.)] 1868:263 [Monatsberichte der Königlichen Preussischen Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Berlin 1868; ref. 3442] Bicol River in Province Bay and Kolabos Brook at Daraga, Luzon Island, Philippines. Syntypes: (several) BMNH 1868.7.10.7-9 [from Peters] (3, lost), MNHN 0000-6161 [ex ZMB in 1869] (3), ZMB 6498 (4). Type catalog: Bauchot et al. 1991:37 [ref. 19958]. •Valid as Glossogobius obscuripinnis (Peters 1868) -- (Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:637 [ref. 25122], Kottelat 2013:408 [ref. 32989], Jamandre 2023:168 [ref. 40455], Parenti 2021:165 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Glossogobius obscuripinnis (Peters 1868). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Philippines. Habitat: freshwater.
