Current status: Valid as Sillago analis Whitley 1943. Sillaginidae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean. western Pacific: Shark Bay (Western Australia) around northern Australia east to Queensland (Australia) and Papua New Guinea. Habitat: brackish, marine.
