Lectotype: NMBA 1844. Paralectotypes: (14) BMNH 1897.3.8.1-4 (4); NMBA 1843 (1), 1845-46 (2), 2731 (1). Type catalog: Kottelat & Sutter 1988:56 [ref. 13796]. Lectotype selected by Larson 2001:67 [ref. 25769]. •Valid as Tamnaka sarasinorum Boulenger 1897 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:154 [ref. 23448]). •Valid as Mugilogobius sarasinorum (Boulenger 1897) -- (Larson 2001:181 [ref. 25522], Kottelat 2013:414 [ref. 32989], Larson et al. 2014:720 [ref. 33557], Miesen et al. 2016:94 [ref. 34492], Bandjolu et al. 2021:4 [ref. 38801]). Current status: Valid as Mugilogobius sarasinorum (Boulenger 1897). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Lake Poso (Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia). Habitat: freshwater.
