Holotype (unique): USNM 73330. •Synonym of Liparis ochotensis Schmidt 1904 -- (Kido 1988:178 [ref. 12287], Sheiko & Fedorov 2000:33 [ref. 25650], Chernova et al. 2004:27 [ref. 27592]). •Valid as Liparis ingens (Gilbert & Burke 1912) -- (Kido in Masuda et al. 1984:338 [ref. 6441], Lindberg & Krasyukova 1987:416 [ref. 15964], Chernova 2008:841 [ref. 30236], Shinohara et al. 2011:48 [ref. 31715], Shinohara et al. 2014:257 [ref. 33330], Parin et al. 2014:335 [ref. 33547], Dyldin & Orlov 2022:215 [ref. 39115]). Current status: Valid as Liparis ingens (Gilbert & Burke 1912). Liparidae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Sea of Japan and Okhotsk Sea. Habitat: marine.
