One specimen in BMNH 1901.12.31.106 is reidentified as Engyprosopon macrolepis (Regan 1905) by Amaoka et al. 1993:298 [ref. 22091]. •Valid as Engyprosopon filimanus (Regan 1908) -- (Hensley & Randall 1990:679 [ref. 20143], Quéro & Golani 1990:39 [ref. 15759], Hensley & Amaoka 2022:334 [ref. 40220]).
