Holotype (unique): whereabouts unknown. •Questionably the same as Bothus mancus (Broussonet 1782) but dating to a later Bleeker work -- (Amaoka 1969:105 [ref. 105]). •Synonym of Bothus mancus (Broussonet 1782) -- (Li & Wang 1995:210 [ref. 16193], Mundy 2005:516 [ref. 28379]). Current status: Synonym of Bothus mancus (Broussonet 1782). Bothidae. Habitat: marine.
