Holotype (unique): ZUMT 8314. •Synonym of Crossorhombus azureus (Alcock 1889) -- (Hensley & Randall 1993:1123 [ref. 22080], Hensley & Amaoka 2001:3820 [ref. 26311]). •Valid as Crossorhombus kanekonis (Tanaka 1918) -- (Amaoka 1969:139 [ref. 105], Amaoka in Masuda et al. 1984:348 [ref. 6441], Lindberg & Fedorov 1993:36 [ref. 21500], Li & Wang 1995:188 [ref. 16193], Chen et al. 1997:176 [ref. 26476], Evseenko 1998:59 [ref. 23643], Amaoka in Randall & Lim 2000:645 [ref. 25122], Nakabo 2000:1362 [ref. 25182], Shinohara et al. 2001:334 [ref. 25995], Nakabo 2002:1362 [ref. 26193], Tashiro 2022:83 [ref. 39012]).
