A.] 1911:213 [Annals and Magazine of Natural History (Series 8) v. 7 (no. 38); ref. 14777] Río Tamana at Novita, Chocó Dept., southwestern Colombia, elevation 150-200 feet. Lectotype: BMNH 1910.7.11.159. Paralectotypes: BMNH 1910.7.11.160-162 (3). Lectotype selected by Vari 1989:14 [ref. 13475]. •Valid as Curimatorbis lineopunctatus (Boulenger 1911) -- (Ovchynnyk 1967:32 [ref. 37559] as lineapunctatus). •Valid as Pseudocurimata lineopunctata (Boulenger 1911) -- (Vari 1989:11 [ref. 13475], Vari in Reis et al. 2003:59 [ref. 27061], Barriga Salazar 2014:105 [ref. 35745], Jiménez-Prado et al. 2015:88 [ref. 34894], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:43 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Pseudocurimata lineopunctata (Boulenger 1911). Curimatidae. Distribution: South America: Pacific slope and Caribbean slope rivers (Colombia and Ecuador). Habitat: freshwater.
