Holotype: MRAC 138534. Paratypes: MRAC 138563-94 (32), 138535-56 (22), 138562 (1, allotype); MZUSP [ex USNM] (1); USNM 365952 [ex MRAC 138557-138561] (5, now 4). •Valid as Tricuspidalestes caeruleus (Matthes 1964) -- (Paugy 1984:183 [ref. 6183], Poll & Gosse 1995:143 [ref. 24781]). Current status: Valid as Tricuspidalestes caeruleus (Matthes 1964). Alestidae. Distribution: Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
