kranjiensis, Ctenogobius Herre [A. W. C. T.] 1940:22, Pl. 17 [Bulletin of the Raffles Museum No. 16; ref. 2130] Kranji, a small stream draining a mangrove swamp, north of Singapore. Holotype: CAS-SU 32999. Paratypes: (13) BMNH 1938.12.1.187-188 (2) from Herre, CAS-SU 33000 (11). Other specimens (or paratype): ZRC 224 (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:110 [ref. 12291], Alfred 1970:72 [ref. 23931]. •Valid as Drombus kranjiensis (Herre 1940) -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:144 [ref. 23448], Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:637 [ref. 25122], Larson & Murdy 2001:3596 [ref. 26293], Larson et al. 2008:148 [ref. 29532]). •Synonym of Drombus globiceps (Hora 1923) -- (Kottelat 2013:405 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Drombus globiceps (Hora 1923). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Singapore and Indonesia (if valid). Habitat: freshwater.
