Type catalog: Bertin & Estève 1950:47 [ref. 19575], Ferraris 2007:142 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Clarias dhonti (Boulenger 1920) -- (Teugels 1986:77 [ref. 6193], Teugels 1986:176 [ref. 12548] with holotype and paratypes, Burgess 1989:146 [ref. 12860], De Vos et al. 2001:131 [ref. 26059], Ferraris 2007:142 [ref. 29155], Kullander & Roberts 2012:361 [ref. 31751], Kiselkewa et al. 2020:[10] 709 [ref. 38315]). Current status: Valid as Clarias dhonti (Boulenger 1920). Clariidae. Distribution: Central Africa: Niemba and Koki River drainages, Lukuga River basin (Democratic Republic of Congo). Habitat: freshwater.
