Lectotype selected by Silfvergrip 1996 as the specimen from Hasselquist's account (subsequent authors considered it possibly as NRM 7044, which was subsequently identified as Bagrus docmac) but the consequences of this selection are discussed by Ferraris 2007:313 [ref. 29155].
