Holotype (unique): BMNH 1903.9.29.2. Gilchrist specimens (possibly can be considered types): SAM 15465 (5 + 13). Current status: Valid as Cynoglossus gilchristi Regan 1920. Cynoglossidae: Cynoglossinae.
