Bleeker specimens or possible holotype: BMNH 1863.12.4.79 (1) Sumatra, RMNH 6855 (3 larger specimens). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:327 [ref. 29155]. •Synonym of Pangasius polyuranodon Bleeker 1852 -- (Roberts 1989:133 [ref. 6439], Roberts & Vidthayanon 1991:136 [ref. 19239], Pouyaud et al. 2002:244 [ref. 26653], Gustiano 2003:137 [ref. 31337], Ferraris 2007:327 [ref. 29155], Kottelat 2013:255 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Pangasius polyuranodon Bleeker 1852. Pangasiidae. Habitat: freshwater.
