Type catalog: Ferraris & Vari 1992:15 [ref. 19771], Ferraris 2007:122 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Corydoras pastazensis Weitzman 1963 -- (Ovchynnyk 1967:37 [ref. 37559], Nijssen & Isbrücker 1980:217 [ref. 6910], Burgess 1989:367 [ref. 12860], Isbrücker 1999:40 [ref. 24040], Isbrücker 2001:232 [ref. 26805], Reis in Reis et al. 2003:301 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:122 [ref. 29155], Barriga Salazar 2014:111 [ref. 35745], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:73 [ref. 35633], Meza-Vargas et al. 2021:25 [ref. 39298], Dias et al. 2024:23 [ref. 41219]). Current status: Valid as Corydoras pastazensis Weitzman 1963. Callichthyidae: Corydoradinae. Distribution: South America: Pastaza and Tigre River drainages, western Amazon basin (Colombia, Ecuador and Peru). Habitat: freshwater.
