Current status: Valid as Cynodonichthys magdalenae (Eigenmann & Henn 1916). Rivulidae: Rivulinae. Distribution: South America: Magdalena and Cauca River basins, central Colombia; occurence in the Cauca River could be artificial. Habitat: freshwater.
