Le Danois 1962:470 [ref. 21440] wrongly treated Tetrodon marmoratus Valenciennes 1843 as an original description with a holotype and paratype, but it is just a subsequent use of Tetrodon marmoratus Lowe 1838. Original genus should have been spelled Tetraodon.
