Current status: Valid as Enneapterygius minutus (Günther 1877). Tripterygiidae: Tripterygiinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Madagascar, Mascarene Islands, Mozambique, northern to Taiwan and Japan, south to Australia, eastern to Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa and Kiribati. Habitat: marine.
