Originally as Novae Hollandiae; correction mandatory. •Questionably a synonym of Johnius coitor (Hamilton 1822) -- (Trewavas 1977:418 [ref. 4459]). •Valid as Johnius novaehollandiae (Steindachner 1866) -- (Johnson 1999:737 [ref. 25471]). •Synonym of Johnius coitor (Hamilton 1822) -- (Talwar 1995:100 [ref. 25194], Bray et al. 2006:1260 [ref. 29091]). •Questionable synonym of Johnius australis (Günther 1880) -- (Parenti 2020:20 [ref. 37439]).
