The correct original spelling is ramsaii -- Ogilby dropped the terminal y and used the spelling ramsaii twice. •Valid as Aseraggodes ramsaii (Ogilby 1889) -- (Randall & Meléndez 1987:104 [ref. 9173] as ramsayi, Francis 1993:168 [ref. 25479] as ramsayi, Randall 2005:209 [ref. 28892], Hoese & Bray 2006:1844 [ref. 29000], Randall & Senou 2007:309 [ref. 29156], Randall et al. 2013:5 [ref. 32941]). Current status: Valid as Aseraggodes ramsaii (Ogilby 1889). Soleidae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: Lord Howe Island and New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
