The name stoliczkae is a misspelling of stoliczkai [originally stolickai Steindachner 1866 but incorrectly amended for letter "c" with diacritical mark]. •Synonym of Triplophysa leptosoma (Herzenstein 1888) -- (Zhu 1989:110 [ref. 17744], Chen & Zhang in Chen 1998:79 [ref. 23556], Zhang et al. 2019:386 [ref. 36699]). •Valid as Triplophysa crassicauda (Herzenstein 1888) -- (Prokofiev 2006:257 [ref. 29061], Prokofiev 2007:20? [Engl. 16] [ref. 28990]). •Valid as Indotriplophysa crassicauda (Herzenstein 1888) -- (Prokofiev 2010:896 [ref. 31096], Kottelat 2012:85 [ref. 32367]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa crassicauda (Herzenstein 1888). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Bajan-gol River, Quaidam, China. Habitat: freshwater.
