Types apparently lost and a neotype designated by Kim et al. 1997:192 [ref. 24117]; original locality Soun Kan R. at Tanyo, Korea; possible paratypes at NRM should be investigated. •Valid as Iksookimia rotundicaudata (Wakiya & Mori 1929) -- (Kim 1997:303 [ref. 24032]). •Valid as Koreocobitis rotundicaudata (Wakiya & Mori 1929) -- (Kim et al. 1997:191 [ref. 24117], Kim et al. 2000:91 [ref. 25039], Kim & Park 2002:204 [ref. 25913], Choi et al. 2003:177, 519 [ref. 26218], Jang et al. 2003:119 [ref. 27681], Kim 2009:20 [ref. 30457], Kottelat 2012:31 [ref. 32367]). Current status: Valid as Koreocobitis rotundicaudata (Wakiya & Mori 1929). Cobitidae. Distribution: Nakdong River, Korea. Habitat: freshwater.
