Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Synonym of Nemacheilus strauchii (Kessler 1874), but a valid subspecies -- (Berg 1949:854 [ref. 20661] as Nemachilus strauchi). •Synonym of Triplophysa strauchii (Kessler 1874) -- (Kottelat 2006:89 [ref. 28831]). •Valid as Triplophysa ulacholica (Anikan 1905) -- (Prokofiev 2006:258 [ref. 29061], Prokofiev 2010:895 [ref. 31096], Kottelat 2012:132 [ref. 32367], Sheraliev et al. 2022:62 [ref. 39759]).
