Based on specimens identified as Aploactis aspersa in Johnstone 1904:2-2, 219 [ref. 15187]. •Tentatively valid as Paraploactis taprobanensis (Whitley 1933) -- (Poss & Eschmeyer 1978:419 [ref. 6387]). •Valid as Paraploactis taprobanensis (Whitley 1933) -- (Prokofiev 2012:321 [ref. 32052]). Current status: Valid as Paraploactis taprobanensis (Whitley 1933). Synanceiidae: Aploactininae. Distribution: Sri Lanka and southwest India. Habitat: marine.
