L.] 1902:44 [Notes from the Leyden Museum v. 24 (note 1); ref. 4490] Tepoe [= Lepo Tepu, 2°01'N, 114°01'E vs. Kottelat's 0°04'10'S, 115°38'40'E], Mahakam River drainage, Borneo, Indonesia. Holotype (unique): RMNH 7811 (205.4 mm SL). Non-types: RMNH 7811 (1 of 2). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:372 [ref. 29155]. The spelling microstoma may be a noun that should not be declined. •Valid as Ompok miostoma (Vaillant 1902) -- (Burgess 1989:86 [ref. 12860]). •See Kottelat & Lim 1996:240 [ref. 23210]. •Valid as Ompok miostomus (Vaillant 1902) -- (Ferraris 2007:372 [ref. 29155], Ng & Hadiaty 2009:56 [ref. 30458], Kottelat 2013:235 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Ompok miostoma (Vaillant 1902). Siluridae. Distribution: Mahakam River basin, central Borneo. Habitat: freshwater.
