Lectotype: BMNH 1899.12.18.6 (228 mm SL). Paralectotypes: BMNH 1899.12.18.7 (1). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:294 [ref. 29155]. Lectotype selected by Isbrücker 1979:112 [ref. 2302].
