Holotype (unique): ZIN 22003. Type catalog: Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:35 [ref. 38114] as Eumicrotremus soldatovi. Also described as new, and with more detail, in Popov 1931:94, fig. 4 [ref. 3543]. Current status: Valid as Proeumicrotremus soldatovi (Popov 1930). Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: northern Sea of Okhotsk and Pacific off southwestern Kamchatka; one record from Bering Sea. Habitat: marine.
