Current status: Valid as Sturisomatichthys citurensis (Meek & Hildebrand 1913). Loricariidae: Loricariinae. Distribution: Bayano, Capeti, Chucunaque, Cituro and Tuyra River basins, Panama and Atrato River basin, Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
