Holotype: ZSI F9904/1 (lost). Paratypes: ZMA 115796-97 (1, 2). Type catalog: Nijssen et al. 1982:30 [ref. 19236]. Current status: Valid as Lepidocephalichthys irrorata Hora 1921. Cobitidae. Distribution: Upper Brahmaputra basin, India and Bangladesh. Habitat: freshwater.
